Forged and rolled balls are quenched and tempered to a hardness profile matched to the mill; cast high-chrome balls serve fine and dry grinding. Sizes, alloys and test values below are our standard range; customer specifications take precedence.
Forged SAG mill balls
Deep hardened case and high impact toughness for 8 – 12 m semi-autogenous mills.
Forged ball mill balls
Consistent hardness profile heat after heat for secondary and regrind mills.
Hot-rolled grinding balls
High-volume media from the new rolling line, same treatment and testing as forged.
High-chrome cast balls
For cement, fine and dry grinding circuits with low impact.
